The leather daybed epitomises Mies van der Rohe's most famous motto; “less is more.” It exhibits a classical elegance, while commanding a sense of line and material which encapsulates the modernist movement.
The KnollStudio logo and the signature of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe are stamped into each piece.
Materials
Hardwood frame with protective, clear lacquer finish. The legs are constructed of tubular steel with polished stainless steel finish. 72 individual leather panels are cut, hand-welted and hand-tufted, and panels and buttons are crafted from a single hide.
